Back in 2016, power outages in the Mid West town of Perenjori were a way of life. But the success of our community battery trial in this rural town means blackouts are becoming a thing of the past, as evidenced last week.

Despite a half hour power outage on the main feeder line, locals were able to continue life as normal thanks to the battery energy storage system (BESS). This large community battery provides instantaneous power for the town.
