THE GOALS

THE GOALS

Rio Tinto is dedicated to reducing carbon emissions across their operations. The Gudai-Darri solar farm, once commissioned will supply approximately 65% of Gudai-Darri's average electricity demand and limit the mine's annual carbon dioxide by 90,000 tonnes, compared to conventional gas powered generation. That is the equivalent of taking 28,000 cars off the road.

The main components of the solution consists of;

12 inverter skids
81,424 PV modules
